For the 18th year in a row, Art Basel will be making its mark on the city of Miami Florida.
From December 5-8, art enthusiasts will flood into Miami to attend the 18th annual art event. An event that will host over 4,000 artists, along with more than 250 international galleries. Much of which will be housed within the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The bar was set last year when a new record was set for the number of attendees who showed up or participated in Art Basel. This year the goal is to break that record and set a new one to be broken in 2020.
The art isn’t just limited to canvas works of paint and oils. The exhibits will include works of photography, film, and digital artwork, although this only hits the tip of the iceberg of the variety of artwork that will be featured at Art Basel. The contemporary work that will be featured this year is like nothing attendees have ever seen before.
Some exhibits include the Meridian exhibition, the Buenos Aires exhibition, and Audemars Piguet: Jan Winderen Installation just to name a few. Art Basel will feature exhibitions that represent the art of cities, cultures, historical events, and so much more.
